Each story should
- Be original and completely written by you
- Fit the tone and structure of its category
- Contain emotional depth, imagination, and age-appropriate language
- Be between 600–800 words
- Be free of excessive complexity, violence, or adult themes

Who Can Write for Storieslet?
We maintain high editorial standards to ensure safe, high-quality content for young audiences. To write for us, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related discipline
- Have verifiable writing experience (e.g., published work or editorial roles)
- Provide a verified social media presence for identity and credibility
- Be willing to submit to our full review process; we do not accept ghostwriters or unverified contributors
What We Don’t Accept
We kindly decline stories that include
- Graphic or excessive violence
- Romantic or explicit themes
- Preachy messaging that disrupts story flow
- AI-generated drafts or rewritten/spun content
- Complex language that confuses our young readers
- Any form of plagiarism or copyright infringement
How to Join Our Writing Family
- Step 1 – Submit Your Profile
Fill in the form with your details, writing samples, and links to your social media accounts.
- Step 2 – Editorial Review
Our editors will review your profile within 5–7 business days. We look for alignment with our mission, quality, and tone.
- Step 3 – Begin Writing
Once approved, you’ll receive contributor access to begin submitting original stories to be featured on Storieslet.
- First Story Submission Guidelines
When submitting your first story, please include
- Your full name, degree, and professional credentials
- A complete story between 600–800 words
- Any original or properly licensed images for story enhancement
- A clear declaration that your content abides by all Storieslet policies
- A guarantee that your submission is unpublished, human-written, and plagiarism-free
